🎉 Great news! EnglishSRS is up to date with the official HSK 3.0! All 11,000 words from the new HSK syllabus are integrated, based on the official Examination Syllabus document available at chinesetest.cn (HSK 3.0 > Examination Syllabus). Breakdown: Band 1 (300), Band 2 (500), Band 3 (1,000), Band 4 (2,000), Band 5 (3,600), Band 6 (5,400), Band 7-9 (11,000 words).

Our recommendation: If you are a beginner and haven't registered for an exam yet, we recommend starting directly with HSK 3.0 (effective July 2026). However, if you have an exam scheduled before July 2026, stick with HSK 2.0 which remains the official reference until then.
